چکیده

The removal of heavy metal ions from wastewater by sorptive flotation using Amberlite IR120 as a resin, and column, was investigated. A combined two-stage process is proposed an alternative the metals aqueous solutions. first stage sorption onto followed dispersed-air flotation. on depending contact time, pH, resin dosage, initial concentration studied in batch method .Various parameters such air flow rate, surfactant were investigated stage. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) Hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (HTAB) used anionic cationic respectively. process, which PH dependent, shows maximum at pH 7. Langmuir Freundlich isotherm expressions found to give both good fit experimental data. Kinetic data correlated well with Lagergren second order kinetic model, step enhanced efficiency nickel cadmium about 75% 94% reduce turbidity so it can dispense filtering expensive technology. It believed that separation has great potential clean water treatment

Removal of Lead Ions from Aqueous Solution by Sorptive-Flotation Using Limestone and Oleic Acid

A simple, rapid and economic procedure was presented to remove lead(II) from aqueous solution under the optimized conditions. It is based on the sorption of Pb2+ ions from aqueous solutions onto limestone fines (LS), which is an inexpensive and widespread over the globe, followed by flotation with oleic acid (HOL) surfactant. The different parameters (namely: solution pH, sorbent...

Removal of nickel and cadmium from aqueous solutions by sewage sludge ash: study in single and binary systems.

Sewage sludge ash can potentially be used for the removal of metal ions from wastewater because its chemical composition is similar to that of fly ash. The aim of this work was to investigate the adsorptive characteristics of this material, including specific surface area and pH of zero point of charge (pH zpc), and to assess the possibility of removing nickel and cadmium from aqueous solutions...
